Bay Summit AcademyBay Summit Academy is the growth track and educational wing for Bay Summit Church. Its purpose is to be a catalyst to help you become an effective Christ follower and communicator. The Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision of accepting Christ to life-changing ministry, we will lead you through the process of spiritual growth and into a fulfilling Christian life.
ALL CLASSES MEET AT THE CHURCH! Growth Track GT1 – Starting Point - This class meets once a quarter for the purpose of informing and connecting people to the vision, core values and mission of Bay Summit. This entry-level meeting also provides an opportunity to meet and get to know our pastors. Q and A’s are welcomed. Childcare is provided. First Class: Thursday, January 14th @ church Length of Class: 1 week GT2 – Turning Point – This four-week class starts immediately after Starting Point. It is designed for those who are new in their faith or feel there are basic truths they need to learn. Childcare is provided. Topics: How to Read the Bible, Scripture Memorization, Developing Spiritual Disciplines, How to Overcome Spiritual Enemies and How to Share Your Spiritual Journey With Others. Bring: Bible, pen and notebook. First Class: Thursday, January 28th Time: 7:30-8:30pm Schedule: Every 2nd and 4th Thursday Length of Class: 4 weeks GT3 – Deeper Truths – This semester study explores the deeper truths of the Christian faith. It is designed for those who have learned and practiced the fundamentals. This class is also for those who desire to grow deeper and be more active in fulfilling the Great Commission. Childcare is provided. Topics: Deeper Revelation, Study of the Godhead Gifts, Exploring our Identity in Christ and Personal Gift Discovery. Bring: Bible, pen and notebook. First Class: Thursday, January 28th Time: 6:30-7:30pm Schedule: Every 2nd and 4th Thursday Length of Class: Through May 27th GT4 – Ministry Training – This semester study provides targeted training for full time or part time ministry. It is designed for those who are drawn to a specific ministry or five-fold gifting. Childcare is provided.
